No, I've already done Shiv Reset on my stock BOV. I also run CAI, but I was told that I need to swap out my boost fluid. I tried that, but injecting the fluid directly into the turbo proved troublesome. Three turbos later, I found out the problem this whole time was with my VTEC not kicking in at low enough RPM's.
Needless to say, I'm happy as a clam, running 27 psi on my '02 WRX. It has STi badges, which only make 4-5 AWHP but I can feel it on the butt dyno.
