New to I-club

Hello all. I am new to I-club and I just wanted to say what up to my fellow Impreza owners in the Denver area. I have an '02 silver WRX sedan. I have some basic mods done (Greddy exhaust, cleared headlights, painted sideskirts), but I am always wishing for more (I just got married and am looking into buying a house so the $$$ is a little short right now). I have been looking for a place to get my mods done, and based on the previous posts, it looks like Mike Shaw Subaru is the place to go. I think an uppipe or some springs are next on my list. And tires as soon as mine are even remotely close to being able to justify spending money on new ones. Well, just wanted to say hi. Peace.

Jake

I can post pics if anyone cares...

VRWRX, where in Aurora do you live?
I know a Suby specialist (for about 6 years) near Buckley and 6th for ALL Subaru needs-dealer quality work (incl. genuine parts) for a fraction of the labor cost...Speedy Roopair 303-343-3619 talk to Dave-tell him Rafael sent you. Not to undermine Mike Shaw or anything, but it IS closer and Dave's done great work on all my family's (3)Subarus!

I'm at about Parker and 225, so Buckley and 6th is pretty close for me (closer than Mike Shaw). Thanks for the referral. Will they do aftermarket work?

Dave (Speedy Roopair) will do it all. He has 'hookups' every where-windshields, genuine parts, etc. He did my 30k maintenance (saved at least $100 over dealer quotes) and installed my Perrin lightweight crank pulley. Speedy Roopair is also an authorized reseller of Cobb Tuning products!
BTW I live near Smoky Hill and E470. Keep an eye out for me-(Black RS coupe-Red/clear tails, clear lenses in front, dark tint, front lip, rear bumper underskirts) I'll be back from Ft collins this weekend for winter break!!

Will do. I'm in that area pretty often. A buddy of mine works at the restaurant at Heritage Eagle Bend. You do the same - Silver '02 sedan w/ clear headlights & fender markers, exhaust, painted sideskirts, tint. I know I'm getting an uppipe for Christmas, so I will talk to Dave to see what he will charge me to put it on. Thanks!

Since this seems to be the "Welcome to I-club/Rocky Mountain" thread, I'll join in. I'll be out in Colo Springs starting in June. Coming from Hawaii via Georgia and Kentucky. Drive a Cobb Stage 2+ '02 Wagon (WRB) with no visible upgrades other than the BPM twister exhaust and vanity plates. I hope to meet a lot of you at this years' Pikes Peak Hillclimb (since it is in my backyard).

I live out on the east side of town in the Powers/Springs Ranch area.

Welcome everyone.

Sadly, I-club does not have a big RMIC group. Most the people are over on ClubWRX (That is the only fourm I ever look at over there lol) or RacingSouthwest.
