Vbullitin forum's are probally somthing we have to buy the rest can probally be done for free .. we just need to find someone who knows html and I can do the graphic design.

ok, so i think we could get this done. all we would need is some volunteer donations, which would be rewarded, i.e. custom user titles and avatars. we wouldn't need a lot of money, about $7.19 per member, assuming we get 50 members.

vbulletin is $85 if we want to lease it for one year or $160 if we want to buy it and own it forever.

I know it sounds expensive but if we were to get all of us, ClubWRX'ers and then the NASIOC SLC people to chip in (this is a rocky mountain forum) I know many of you just want this to be colorado, which we could do, but to make it cheaper for all of us, plus make it more "inclusive" then it would work better if we include everyone. it would probably end up being $10 or less which is not much (i would belive) This is how i would do it:
Volantary donations:
$10 anual gets you an avatar, and custom title, changeable any time plus space to upload pictures and be a part of the members gallery
$5 annual get's you an avatar
$0 annual get's you access to the boards, posting, but no avatar, pic upload, or custom title.
Also, at first, we would keep the same moderators from here, clubWRX, and possibly one or 2 from NASIOC (for the SLC folks to feel welcome) to moderate the boards at first. If we have a need for more moderation then people would be asked to mod depeending on their knowledge and how active they are on the board.
I know most, if not all of you can spare $10 a year. This is a good cause, and those 10 bucks can save you a lot of hosting fee's for pics too.
BTW: Right now I am working on this with PyroManiac who though he is young, he knows a hell of a lot more about this than I do. Anyone else who knows about this stuff please PM me or IM me at Imprezastitypeuk as i might need some help.

I really am not comfortable handling the money of this, and all that person would have to do is use their pay pal account to recive donations and then use that money to buy the vbulliten thing, domain name, and hosting service. It really woundt be a hard job, just you would have to comfortable with money.

I cound help out w/ the funds if nobody else wants to do it .. also I am still down to help with the web design.
We might want to get sort of a preliminary sign up to get a feel of how many people want to get on this new site. that ways we dont end up asking for too much money .. i guess if we did we could get some shirts maid with the extra $. I am working on a couple of companys to donate some dough, we will probally need to give them some ad space if they do help us out. what do you guys think about that.

Post this up please on ClubWRX, as their reaction to this idea so far hasnt been the best. Also, I have figured out that if we do this i can buy the server space, and all we would need is vbulliten if we want to do that over phpbb2.
