How it works is:
1. You reply to this thread
2. Alex gives you "VIP Status" under your user name, which then means you can get a avatar.
3. Go into user CP, and on the left side it should then say "change avatar" YOu can then either upload one, or simply host one. Only thing is it has to be tiny: 50x50 pixels or less
4. You ahve an avatar!

I've been registered a long time, but -- (as in when this forum was created)
Just not much traffic from the RM folks at that time.
