Another reason to buy from mike shaw ( just a wee bit of a vent)
I havent yet bought a subbie but ive been looking hard for the right one for me.So i went to flat irons subaru today to look at a 00 rs coupe rally blue and i took my wife so she could give me a stamp of approval on the car..This was the second time i had been there cause my wife wasnt with me the first time. The first thing that annoys me is all the sales people hang out inside talking to each other and even if you go inside to try to find help they all ignore you. Then the same guy i worked with last time decided to help me again after waiting for 5 minutes for help.then once he realized i was back to look at the same car he started gettign an attitude with me after arguing with him for a while he finally got the keys so i could look at it.the whole time my wife was freezing since it was a little chilly today so she was getting mad. Finally he got me a plate so i could go drive the car with my wife to see if it had enough comfort and guts for her.when we get back from the test drive we told him it wasnt the right car cause it had some coffe can exhaust on it the clutch was slipping and the interior was trashed. Not to mention the fact they want 14K for a car with a lot of problems, and 84k miles. So based on just the bad attitude ill be buying my gc8 from mike shaw

I actually bought my car from Advantage Automotive. I just called them up and told them Exactly what I wanted and they found the best price at Burt Subaru. They took care of all of the paperwork and delivered the car to my bank where I had to sign a few things and my loan, and then I drove my car home. I didn't have to deal directly with Burt then, but they screwed up my address they put down Auroua, instead of Arvada and when I went down there to have them fix it so I could get my plates they took care of me very well.
I think burt has very competive pricing especially next to John Elway .. but for service or parts I personally would go up to Mike Shaw.

Car Info: No car right now....sob.
just a reminder about burt,
while they may be ok to the average consumer, do not get affiliated with them when it comes to being a dealer. my dad was a dealer for the, and in turn got sued for becoming a "too good" dealer. [end vent mode]
