I saw a video of a "thunderhill" event. and it looks like a lot of fun. Is Thunderhill is type of Auto-X ? If not, what type of a course is it called? and is there anything similar to this in Southern California? Information of greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was wondering if there is anything like this in Southern CA..Im im Orange County, not really willing to drive 8 hours for Thunderhill.. =/
