spt parts for autox

hi, i was wondering about SPT parts being used in scca solo 2. will it kick me out of d-stock? it is from subaru(as options). shouldn't it be just like the neon's and mopar parts being allowed to use different spring rates, etc? (if i remember right)

thanks b

Nope, SPT is actually a dealer installed option.

SCCA says that that would put you in (i think) ESP or STX

I had those questions too when I started autoxing.

Post short shiftin'

According the latest FasTrack update, the short-shifter (Subaru) is allowed in DS. Other aftermarket brands are not allowed however.

thanks for your replies

i finally went to scca with the wagon and it was fun. in short, the spt left the car feeling like a boat with the weight being high. i ended up going into SM because of my sti scoop, even though i was bone stock. well, i did have a 3/16 mod. oh well, i would take off the scoop, but i like the look and the rest of the subies are mostly in SM, so i'll stay there. i think i felt the "beauty of all wheel drive". thanks again. b

'Body kits' are not allowed in stock. You cannot order the car like this from the factory, nor are they put on at the port.
