She's Pushing! Is it just me? YUP!
Well, I completed my 2nd autox in the WRX (D-stock with Azenis, Koni shocks). I'm pleased overall, as I was good on the first heat and showed an improving trend. But I was also 1.5 sec behind another well-driven WRX on Kumhos.
I think I lost a lot of time pushing in the corners, driving into the corners too fast and pushing all the way around. Is the fast method slowing down more initially and using the gas to help rotate the car? I think I was able to do this a couple times, but not consistently. When I hit it right, it's awesome!
This autocross was at FedEx field in DC, where the elevation change gives a lot of downhill, off-camber turns, making the push even worse. I also learned later that the Azenis are known for getting "greasy" when they get hot and that surely made the push even worse.
Any guidance out there?

Slow in, fast out. Get on the gas a little earlier exiting a turn to give the turbo time to get going. If you're pushing already in a stock WRX, more gas tends to make them just understeer more. Remember, driving just under the limits of adhesion is not as fast at at the limits, but a lot faster than past them. Hope that helps
