Road Crew Needed for Professional Race Team. Multiple Openings.

We are a professional road race team competing in both USTCC and Grand-Am Cup events in 2006. We are expanding our effort and are in urgent need of enthusiastic people to fill spots on our traveling road crew. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone with the desire to be part of a winning professional racing team. We put our all into this team are looking for more people willing to do the same.

These positions are extremely part time, including weekend race events and a few weekdays(travel time). All these positions are also ALL VOLUNTEER, as is every position on the team. However, the team provides uniforms, food, lodging, and travel expenses, as well as experiences you cannot get anywhere but a race track. Must be willing to travel anywhere west of the Mississippi at least 7 times a year for these race events.

Experience preferred, but will accept the right entry level candidates. Great experience for any racing resume. Start a career or add to your appeal by setting yourself apart. Possibility exists for job offers in the future as we grow.

Skills (one or more): basic mechanicship (intermediate-advanced preferred), data acquisition/analysis, fabrication, basic computer skills, suspension systems.

Experience (one or more): road racing, rally, track days, autox , performance automotive projects

Traits: Good working with hands, excellent at working and communicating as a team, gets along well with others, strong problem solving skills, motivated and energetic, confident, committed, hard working, LOVES racing. Must be at least semi-athletic, be able to lift 40lbs, and comfortable in all weather conditions. Prefer live within 3 hours of San Francisco Bay Area.
