im a noob to the track world and im going to laguna seca on the 28th!
(thunderhill was my first event- officially addicted)

any tips or in car videos for laguna seca?

at the corkscrew, aim for the middle tree (should have a cone at the bottom of it) and you'll be at the right spot when you are finally able to see the asphalt.

After a few laps, at turn 11 you'll really start to notice brake fade, plan accordingly.

Turn 1 is slightly downhill, but doesn't really matter

At Rainey curve, don't be afraid to give it extra gas and let it push all the way to the outside of the track

The whole track kicks ***

I have a massive break between class and work on Thursdays and pass LS on my way home during that period, so I'll stop by and take some pictures

the thing that worries me the worst is that the walls are so close
i didn't spin at thunderhill but you never know lol

you wont spin out, I think there was only one spin out when I was on the track and he just went into the dirt on the inside of turn 5 or something

 

Don't lift through Rainey Curve. Ride it out...

I ran my 07 there a couple months back...pm me and i'll write you lots of info...too late to think right now

 

Laguna is a wonderful track. I've found the pace there to be faster than Thunder Hill.
