This is it,boys. As much as I want Kimi to take it, I think Hamilton will win. This is where it'll show how grown-up he is. The pressure is on.
Forza Kimi!!
P.S. I can just see Alonso pulling some dirty trick.

Even my fiancee was happy for me, cause she knows how much this means to me, to have Kimi FINALLY take a championship. It's just so crazy, and the odds were so against him. I'm about to finish the torrent right now and watch the race.
There will be more, I know this, so long as that car is in decent shape, there will be more!
just finished watching it. Yeah, i was flowing tears nearly the entire post race, especially when they were interviewing Kimi and Peter Windsor brought up 03 and 05.
Still can't believe it!

Hamilton learned the 'rookie' lesson the hard way. He 'raced' two races in a row, when he didn't have to 'race'... he just needed to remain calm and run his OWN race and keep sight of the 'big picture'. The dice with Alonso in the opening of this race was just painful to watch ~ he threw the race away right there... and all he needed to do was follow for the championship win.
He has a long time to think about beaching in in the kitty litter in China and then letting the heat of the moment and 'ego' give it away in Brazil...
He needs to 'mature' I am afraid.
Kimi deserved it after his horrendous luck with McClaren when he was easily the fastest of the field ~ The 'Ice Man' rocks!

That was about the best possible result I could have imagined...Kimi wins AND alonso comes up third...just great. Second best would be Hamilton winning, but most important was that Alonso gets shafted. Good Stuff
Also, they keep hitting home this "rookie mistake" line. I feel they were just mistakes plane and simple. Everyone including Alonso and Kimi have made simple mistakes, but its just getting a little irritating to here ever mistake Hamilton makes be called a rookie mistake. The mistake in the start however was kind of dumb.

Uh oh...it's not over yet. Quoted from Autoweek.com:
However, it may fade to a frown. Officials announced after the race that fuel samples taken from the cars of Rosberg, Kubica and Heidfeld—who all finished ahead of Hamilton—contravened the rules. Article 6.5.5 of F1’s technical regulations states, “No fuel on board [any] car may be more than 10 degrees centigrade below ambient temperature.” None of the cars in question was more than four degrees outside the limit, but Mike Gascoyne, the Spyker team’s technical boss, said the variances could give an engine an additional 5 to 10 hp.
Race stewards elected not to penalize the drivers in question, saying the matter was unclear and that they had conflicting information about the actual fuel and ambient temperatures. Not surprisingly, McLaren announced its intention to take the case to the FIA international court of appeal. If the court hears the case and determines the cars in question were illegal, it could disqualify all three. That would elevate Hamilton to fourth place in the results and hand him the title.
