O ok, I thought you might have to pre-register. Very good, thanx.
I just got my SCCA membership car so that won't be a problem
So I should check tire pressure, check liquids, bring money and membership card, anything else that is important to do prior to saturday??? Thanx

You might be in GS along with the 2.5 RS, but you'd need to ask someone up there to make sure. Both GS and HS are first group anyway so it shouldn't be too big a deal to sort out when you get there.
With being in the first run group, you should sign in and register at the registration table, and then put your car on grid. Normally, tech inspection for the cars is done at a separate tech station, but group 1 is teched on grid to save time before the start. If you get confused about this or don't know where to grid, ask at the registration table or at the SFR motorhome for help.
Getting there early (7-30-7:45) is a good idea for your first go. Once you know the routine, you can cut it finer and get a few more ZZzzs

kravdra: It sounds like you had a great time. Did you end up in GS or HS?
I wussed out. I was over in Berkeley on Friday night and didn't roll into bed until 3:15. I decided 4 hours sleep just wouldn't do it. Hopefully I'll make it to the next round.

I ended up in HS, though I guess I'm not positive that was correct. I went to the registration thing and the guy asked what class I was in, I said I don't know, I thought either HS or GS, he looks in his book, and found that the 2.5 liter was GS and said I was HS. I don't really care, heck, HS is better (right) but I'm not positive that it was correct. It was really fun tho, too bad you stayed up so late and missed it And I actually beat my dad at somethin my best time was 72 while his was 75  maybe I'll c u next time
