Said it was in SF
"That was from summer 2000 or 2001 BMWCCA Golden Gate
chapter, at 3com (49ers and ex Giants) stadium
in SF.
There's much sand and grit there, even after the
broom and leafblower worksession; the truck and
boxvan - ambulance helped clear the track well.
An SFPD squadcar also ran (12 seconds slower than
my 318i). The driver would reach out and grip
the a-pillar with one hand on left turns."
