Technically he's still better off right now vs last year, but we'll see. Last year it was i think 13/14 pts back with 3 race left, lets see how much he can get back this time.
Looking at FP2 this morning, I don't know. All I know it Lewis and Massa are testing their fast setups, and they are fast! OMG are they quick.
Rain sat night might keep the track damp all day, it might dry out, who knows. It looks to be dry for Qualifying and Race since it's at evening time.
But All I know is the track is very slippery, had 4 cars kiss the walls today in FP1/FP2, it's not going to be much better grip wise tomorrow and Sunday.

I hate the Speed Channel
The speed channel has so much coverage for the stupid racing called NASCAR. What the heck is NASCAR. It is not even racing. They go in circle in those big bulky and ugly cars bumping one another and they call that racing. Enough already with NASCAR. So many other racing events that we would love to see on TV, but no, NASCAR.

So much for all that!

Well, I wasright about a few things and VERY wrong about a few.
Lewis didn't win, but damn close.
SC was THE biggests factor in the race.
Vettel did place well.
Kimi was great until he missed the turn in by 4 inches, hit the curb, jumped it, and hit the wall... what the ****... that was all he had to pull another miracle in the next 3 races, but he's pretty much done now, cause he's like 25 pts back. it's over for him.
Massa, massa, massa... Definitely Ferrari's fault... again... Ruined it for Massa. I mean, the lolipop man was working soooo well, but nope, they want that damn light system. Although his offs and things didn't help later, cause while Lewis and Kimi were leapfrogging guys, massa was going nowhere.
Bourdais did terrible, but that showed all weekend, he wasn't going to change that whole deal in the race.
Alonso deserved this. He was fast all weekend, and the car let him down on sat, so it was fitting that he took this win.

Pretty crazy race. So many incidents. Poor Kimi at that corner.
Wow, and Massa! WTF was the green light on for him to go ? And that fueling rig seemed like it got jammed because they had a difficult time taking it off when they ran to Massa's car.

I almost felt sorry for Massa. I noticed that for the second round of pit stops Ferrari had a lollipop guy out there. The whole lights system is a joke, releasing the cars into traffic.
I'm glad for Nico, he needs to get into a good team so we can see what he can really do.
Ferrari and Massa will be fired up for the next race.

I couldn't believe what happened to Massa. Poor guy. It was in his pocket the whole way.
By the way. October is typhoon season in Japan. Ferarri had better fixed that issue with rain.
