F1 2008 Italian GP Sept 12-14
Ferrari's new chasis isn't as good as the last one IMHO... McLaren should be on pole, and leading the whole way.
Massa could be on Pole, not sure at the Race Pace of the car.
Don't know about Kimi. He'll probably knock down ANOTHER fastest lap, but not really get the qualifying run he needs and probably doesn't have the car needed to stay in front like many races this season.
I doubt anything mechanical will happen to McLaren. What a contrast to just a few years ago.
So, I predict Lewis vs Massa and Kovi vs Kimi.

Pole is going to be tough to call. The 08 chassis both Ferrari and McLaren are evenly matched particularly top speed. We all know that Monza is the fastest circuit in F1. Very little downforce on any of the cars. This has been an advantage for Ferrari as their chassi has shown to be quite forgiving to the crap Bridgstone compounds on higher downforce circuits. It's been reported that McLaren has about 40hp over the F08. We'll see if that is true in Monza. Regardless I expect a bad *** race. The points are so close. After the FIA decision Lewis will more than likely attempt walk away with 10pts.

I don't have much faith in the Ferrari chassis. It's brand new, and so far I feel slower than last years car in GP circuits.
Last year Ferrari was SLOW, and this year, i dunno, i expect Lewis to be faster.

This should let all the media folks know he's not bored with F1
Ferrari have announced an extension to Kimi Raikkonen’s contract for a further two seasons, keeping the world champion with the Italian team until the end of 2010.
With Raikkonen’s team mate Felipe Massa also under contract for that period, it means Ferrari’s race line-up will remain unchanged until at least the start of their 2011 campaign.
Raikkonen joined Ferrari from McLaren last season, while Massa has been with the team since 2006. The announcement should end media speculation suggesting that Raikkonen may retire at the end of this season.

Vettel on pole!! Yes! God, where will he be in F1 history once he's in a top team.
Amazing run by Vettel!
Massa 6th
Kimi 14th! (Q2)
Lewis 15th!! (Q2)
Lewis went to inters when he needed to stay out cause the rain came on super heavy and that was it, he never recovered. Kimi was also in the pits too early and missed the sweet spot, and never could get that last second to pull to 10th. Massa was sitting in 10th, he was on track just before the heavy rain, and managed a jump from 12th to 10th and made it into Q3.
Crazy, crazy race tomorrow, especially if it ends up being dry! OMG, can you imagine the passing!
Kimi and Lewis are going to swashbuckle each other as they slice their way through traffic!

Lewis said it best: "I need Heikki to finish first and me to finish in the points"
He gambled with the weather and lost, that's all. Kimi did the same.
I'm praying for rain tomorrow.

I'm so proud and happy for Vettel and I just cannot wait until he's on a top team!
Kimi- Bad setup dude... looks like he went for the dry setup and it simply was too wet. Same probably for Massa as well as he wasn't significantly faster than others. Kimi def had a dry setup car cause his lap times were stupid fast the last 14 laps as the track dried. Simply gambled wrong
Lewis- Amazing run from 15th! Definitely a wet weather setup, and definitely worked well. The straight line speed in the rain, the way the car was setup for the curbs, Lewis drove perfectly. I'm sure he slowed down to nurse something at the end, cause I expected him to pass Massa but he slowed.

damn ...... Vettel is gonna be crazy fast once he is in top team!!
Congrats to Vettel and STR Ferrari ... they deserved it.
Only if Hamilton didn't had to make that unscheduled pit stop he might have finished like 2 positions up in points

been thinking about vettel so much all day. im so happy for him. i can remeber when i'd watch friday drive a few years ago when he was 17/18. the talent is simply amazing. really hope his next team is ferrari or mclaren come a few years, he deserves to be in one of those two cars. you could argue he was born to be.
