AutoX suggestions for Street Touring STU
So im trying to prep my car for this years autox event for the Street Touring STU class- Its a 2002 wrx wagon
This is the list I have put together but im not sure if there might be other things im overlooking that would be more important than others- I am in a Budget so I cant go too crazy-
Brakes-
DBA4000 fronts rotors
Powerslot rear rotors
Hawk HPS pads all around
Suspension-
Tokico Spec D shocks
Swift Springs
Rear whiteline 24mm adj Sway w/ Kartboy Endlinks
Front and rear Strut Bars
Steering rack bushings
Rear Subframe Lock down nuts (whiteline or perrin)
Whiteline Camber bolts Front and rear
Engine-
I only have a Blitz panel filter installed-
might change spark plugs, just bc they are due soon.
Any Suggestions/ Comments are greatly appreciated!
Thanks in Advance!

you're in stx with a 02 wrx 2.0l. stu is for sti's and 06+ wrx due to the 2.5l engine. Looks good to me other than the subframe lock down bolts.......not sure if those are legal. What tires are you gonna use? I believe the top stx wrx's use 235/40/17 tires on 17x8" wheels. Pretty much tires and suspension are the most important things. Won't need lots of power if you carry momentum through the turns hehe.

I ran a 05 WRX Wagon in ESP for two years. I'd find a performance shop that can give you a nice alignment and my choice for brake pads would be Porterfield R4's. Are you going to change your front sway? I'd go 24mm front and 22mm rear depending on how well your wagon rotates. You'll want to rid yourself of any under steer and get that baby to rotate.
I ran Yokohama Advan Neova tires my second season and loved them. Very little wear even with an agressive alignment. Also, look into changing out all your fluids from stock to some Red Line.
While your doing brake work, drop on some SS brake lines and put in some Super Blue fluid.

You won't. Just relax and enjoy the drive. Most of everyone is friendly and helpful. Don't be embarrassed to ask questions. Also, it might be good to get a ride with someone in a run group before yours so you have a feel for things. Most drivers will be glad to give you a ride in their first run.
BTW, do you have a helmet ?
