Have you been anywhere else outside of Fremont or the East Bay?

The bottom line, people in L.A. don't know how good they have it. And who cares about having the number traffic congestion in the nation. There's traffic EVERYWHERE. And stupid Nor-Caltrans hasn't figured out that traffic lights on freeway onramps are a good thing. Idiots.

I've been all over the Bay area, and the place I liked the most was San Jose (and its surrounding areas). Unfortunately, it's too far from Berkeley to make it a viable place to hang out in.

There are plenty more beaches than Santa Monica and Venice. There's Malibu, Manhattan, Hermosa, Seal, Redondo, Laguna, etc., and my personal favorite, Huntington. Come to Manhattan or Huntington on a summer day, and you'll never want to live anywhere else.
