yeah that sucks, but I think Marvel keeps gets all teh ownership rights to any character that appears in their comics. I don't think Stan Lee gets paid for creating spider man.

most def sad news for Dave Cockrum.
I've actually met him and Len Wein back in my art days when I used to ink for the low label indi studios. Oh man Dave was a great man. RIP.
