don't brake if two wheels go in the dirt. if you know you're going to go off, try to go straight. i'm surprised the guy didn't pit to check out his car after that incident.

actually if you watch the clip more and more, he hit the burm. At that point you're just a passenger since the car is in a spin, he gradually stopped. So use the brakes at the end.

Ok good to know. So the burm is not a good thing to be using? Because I see cars utilize burms all the time. Infact as this vid progresses, he is actually using the burns quit a bit, especially where the really narrow "S" turns are at. Just curious..

well on that track, that's the alligator burm. I've hit it before going clockwise. He's running counter so the effect of hitting a burm pretty much upset the balance of his car and the car came out from underneath him.
i stayed away from the burms when i was at moran raceway 
cutting them looks cool but unles you're very experienced i would stay off them and be very conservative with your lines
