vegas trip is right around the corner

Date: feb 10 sun - 17 sun

Staying at a resort through my time share. It's roughly 5 miles from the busy parts of the strip which is no biggy.

Cost of the stay is 50 per person and that covers the duration of the stay. So it fits our poor needs.

Beds are limited mainly due to the fact I got a 2 bedroom condo so bring sleeping bags and pillows.

Please list your email so I can update you with final details, carpool arrangements yada yada yada

Car pool situation

I originally planned to leave on Thursday night, but instead I'll go up on Friday.

I understand some of you have opted to carpool with Jerry (ed, thi, lawson)

Would you guys rather chip in for a rental?

i think it's easier if we make a list of how many ppl and going up what time
and also if everyone can take half day off on friday that would make the drive on friday much better too.

1. Eddie (maybe +1)
2. Franco + lisa
3. Ed + Thi
4. Lawson
5. Jerry

that's 8 ppl there.

The big resort hotel corridor on south Las Vegas Blvd. is really it's own different world separate from the rest of the city of Las Vegas, and I think it needs it's own discussion thread for information sharing, so here it is.

In SW Sightings BugsBunny wrote:

"I would love to see something about girls in the casinos/resorts. I just arrived for a few days and did not have time to do homework ahead of time. I am at the MGM and have no car.. what's a guy to do? Would love to get something to my room for $2, but is that an option at the MGM?"

The short answer is yes, and that you can do one of the following:

Option #1- Use the dine-in menu on display at the bar in the casino where you are staying. If an unnaturally attractive well dressed young woman is indifferently playing the video poker machine alone at the bar, the official Vegas Wastrel's odds line is about 2 to 5 (75-80% chance in your favor) that she is no lady, and is in the professional companionship business. Try such clever lines as "buy ya a drink?" or "mind if I join ya?" If she licks her lips and purrs "ooh yeah sure handsome" she's working. If she grunts and doesn't look up from the video poker she isn't. Whether a particular hotel is stocked with a good selection of working girls varies from week to week. High-end working ladies are informally permitted when casino management judges them to be good for business, or at least unofficially tolerated when they mind their manners and don't forget to tip the bartender. They are efficiently escorted off the premises by the casino's in-house security if management judges them to be individually or collectively bad for business, so it just depends on what meetings or conventions are booked in that hotel that week. Mr. Bunny: MGM is about as good as any for this.

Option #2- Stroll the skybridges and pedestrian walkways and leer shamelessly at a young woman walking alone who you find especially attractive. Odds are about 3 to 5 (60-70% chance) she will leer back and attach herself to your elbow to strike up a conversation intended to lead to money for sex. The bridges around Flamingo and LV Blvd. are probably the best for this, but all of them can be quite active this way.

Option #3- Late at night, say from around one or two until a little before dawn, a lot of casino workers who have not had all their financial needs met will head over to what used to be known as the "lamp bar" at the Aladdin, similar to the "day old" rack in the bakery section of the supermarket where sweet delicacies are offered for a discount just before their pull date expires. Odds are about 1 to 10 (90% chance) that any woman under thirty without a man on her arm at this bar after midnight is available, and 4 to 5 (better than 50%) that she will soon be available for hire even if she is already chatting with another gent. Buggs: the Aladdin is about half a mile or so north of the MGM on the same side of LV Blvd.

CWs sometimes will not leave the hotel they are working, and sometimes will, but ladies from Aladdin’s lamp and obviously from the skybridges are prepared to join you for a taxi ride within the Strip. It is very dangerous to accept an invitation to go to her place, and you should be extremely suspicious of anyone who wants you to do so. Red alert, eject, eject if someone wants you to do this, no matter what she looks like.

Here is an excerpt from a longer report I posted on the other site a few months ago. That original report was mostly about local SWs, but this part may be of some interest to visitors to the Strip, as the young lady in question does most of her business in the hotels:

After putting Nina out on her familiar curb I drove out Paradise planning to swing back around Koval to fool around in the Ellis Island, but I was struck dumb by an exquisite little ebony doll displaying herself on the bus bench in front of the Hard Rock. I pulled in behind the bench through the lot and she floated up to my window, with her nipples standing at attention in the chilly (for Vegas) night in the flimsy little pink thing clinging to her absolutely perfect little body.

*****: "Can we get married?"

Her: "You're crazy!"

*****l: "Yes, I know, I get that a lot. They have a drive through window, you know."

Her: "I'm Angel."

*****: "Yes, of course."

Angel: "We could maybe do the honeymoon thing, sweetie."

I book a room on the Strip about twice a year to celebrate Czech Independence or National Poultry Day, and to be fair to the Angel I let her know pretty quick that I'm not a tourist in the high-roller suite at the Bellagio and wouldn't be showering her with major presidents tonight, but she seemed to enjoy taking a break to have me drooling on her in the car for a bit, so she indulged me with a little realistic shop talk. She is from New York, and has made the trip out for a few weeks at a stretch several times this year. She generally asks for at least five bills, though she might consider about half that if it's late on a slow night, and she aims to be in and out the door in about fifteen minutes or so, unless she can hook a substantial upsale. I didn't want to know how the meter would run on that. She never goes far from the Strip and only goes to "good" hotels. She didn't directly say so, but I'm quite sure her "business agent" was lurking about in the back of the parking lot, and that he would be kicking down whatever door she was behind to repossess his little money machine if she was out of sight for very long without permission. Sweet-thing clued me in on a little trick I hadn't heard before: she sends a text with the room number then leaves the cell phone out with a live connection so her "agent" can listen in on the date.

She asked if she could have the chrome lighter she saw on my dash as a going away gift (so sweet of her to ask) and when I gave it to her she gave me a hug, a stroke on the thigh, and a wet kiss on the earlobe on her way out to resume trolling for an oil sheik or cattle baron with too much money on his hands. It was a two dollar disposable lighter.

Some general observations:

The later the hour, the more flexible the pricing. At this time it is pretty standard to ask for five but common to drop to three and possibly two. Two bills used to be the standard “graveyard special” rate, but since New Years many have been trying to draw the line at three. I don't think that is holding, and two should still be available from some, but not all, of the CWs.

These prices get you some breathtaking good looks in all sizes, styles, and flavors, but guarantee nothing else; not performance, not safety, not even skill, and certainly not her attitude after the money changes hands. Some will sprout horns and a tail after they get the money, some will upsell you to no end, and some can be very good company. Let me repeat: expensive good looks do not guarantee anything else, and your safety is your responsibility with the high end Strip babes just as much as it would be with a cheap SW, and it is always important that you be in control of the environment with them.

just some stuff to read about for the vegas trip
