I used to like Shaq. He was like a super hero when I was in 7th grade. That feeling faded when his powerful dunks got old and especially after he got traded to the Lakers. I think the Suns have a decent line up now. They can still be a promising team. They definitely don't need more injury prone players to add on top of Grant Hill.

If we were to divide each of the stats (but 3P% and FT%) with minutes per game, Shaq might be a better player. Unless Shaq is healthy, the trade isn't worthy, especially when Miami would want more than just Marion. On a further note, a player with consistent number is better. It like that heavyweight fight match between Alexander Povetkin and Eddie Chambers. Chambers had great percentage when it came to accurracy, but the Russian worked Chambers out like watching a Siberian Husky hunting on snow ground.
