I once started a list... I had to resort to 'names' like ~ Chick who left her boots on in Ketchum ~ Amazon in Kanas City ~ Wonder Buns in Tahoe ~

I was a location scout for the movies and commercials. Means I was on the road 200 days + with an expense account and hundreds of ladies to choose from each week.

I just called myself a 'Man *****' the other day when pressed for background from my boss. A good man who only needs one hand to count his ladies ;-)

OK. May have bragged a bit too soon. Seems there is a Weather Anchor at a local TV station here that is OFF the charts. She came for a 'test drive' (hold the commments) at my dealership (Turbo Forester, no less). I am moving real slow... but I went fishing with an e-mail last weekend and no response from her. Not sure she got it, so round two to another address... moments ago.

It did take me two years to get ONE that I wanted... so time CAN be your friend. Nobody likes to be hounded (man or woman, right???).

Now, have I ever been dumped? YOU bet ;-)

Old enough to be your Dad. Someone had a thread going over on RS25 "How Old Are You?" Nobody was even close to me ;-) But age is all in the mind. I couldn't hang with people my age for the life of me ~

Don't really need to write a book (but should). Just look to your right and your left at the bar or party and watch your buddy's working it. Be as completely UNLIKE them as humanly possible.

Men are jerks... face it. And women rule out 85% of us before we even open our mouths...

If there are three 'major player' women together out for the night. Do NOT assume they are there to be 'picked up'. More then likely, they just want to hang and have a good time with each other... not fend off 1/2 drunk jerks all night. DON'T send drinks. Obviously they can afford to pay for their own. Just pick your favorite and hope she comes back again alone and perhaps you stand a chance!

Don't tell her she's beautiful. She knows it. Challenge her, make her think it is her idea. If you have not noticed, women like to 'control' a situation. Go ahead and let her lead. Have some faith in your self-confidence and your intelligence to know you can nudge anyone along... Above all, put your tongue back in your mouth and try talking.

If women don't like conversation, what else would explain them always being on the phone? You might want to branch out and talk about something else besides cars, sex or 'partying'...

If you can't hellp but remark on her beauty (and believe me there are some this cannot be avoided). Try things like ~ You have the voice of a dove. ~ When you walk into a room, you even have the attention of the women.

ALWAYS return a look of an attractive woman. NOT with a I want to **** you look! With a challenge. Yes I acknowledge you ~ now it's your choice. And stand your ground. She WILL come over.

Why? Because you just separated yourself from the crowd.

That's like the divorce capital of the world. So that's why I'm saying he's never had a problem having women say no to him. A lasting relationship is another thing.

Not sure about the far north thing. I have had all of my relationships last exactly as long as I wanted them ~ except for one. And I don't miss her, just my kids.

I grew up in Laguna and lived most of my life in L.A. or Santa Barbara. My background was film, this put me around a lot of lovely women.

This thread was about being 'rejected'. You can avoid this completely and have a very full love life. Or bang your head against the wall in defeat. It's your choice.

I look back and I am amazed. I am NOT a male model in looks. I am not a P.H.D. But, I am quick witted, not ugly as sin and simply have a 'presence' in a room and a joy for life. This is sexy to a woman. Ask any lady you wish.

The point ~ anyone can get what they want if they play 'Chess' instead of 'Chest'!

I will, but right now the Roque River has a great Salmon Fly hatch and it's 66 miles to my favorite water, she is calling my name! I only fly fish so I can drive great roads in a great car... Will be back later with a glass of Chardonnay!
