Tighten up your rear end with an X-brace!!!!

The X-brace is currently available for Subaru Impreza Sedans (2.5RS , WRX and STi). The X-brace significantly stiffens the Impreza's chassis. See graph for details. Official testing results show a 10-12% increase in lateral acceleration ( competing rear strut braces offer 1-2%). Takes 2-3 seconds off lap times. ( Based on test results from a 2004 STi at Beaver Run In Pennsylvania). .01-.02 g's in skidpad. The brace fits directly behind the rear seats. No body/chassis modification needed. No loss of trunk space or trunk pass-thru. Available in mild steel (w/ WR Blue caps) and Chromolly ( w/ Orange caps.)

Mild Steel X-Brace $389.00 each
Chromoly X-Brace $479.00 each

X-brace

It mounts to existing holes under the back seat of the car, you cant see it in these pictures but i will try to get a picture of it asap. As far as using it with another rear strut brace it unfortunatly wont work. This x- brace acts as a strut brace in addition to chassis support as you can see (actually the best rear strut brace you can buy) so an additional strut brace would really do nothing and wouldnt fit, also because the x-brace mounts to the strut tops. you can see a video of it being installed on www.hspn.tv

Yes, they now supply them with installation instructions so you can do it yourself.

"Takes 2-3 seconds off lap times."

So how scientific is this study? how do we know the driver didn't just drive better during that lap. how long is one entire lap? i find it really hard to believe that an X brase will make such a huge difference.

( Based on test results from a 2004 STi at Beaver Run In Pennsylvania).

Go google it.
