keep your eyes on japan- i think IMO that will be a "wrench in the mix" .
petter may be more consistent- but tarmac leaves him the underdog

I'm a Petter fan since he drives for Subaru, but I think this is Sebastians year. We'll see what happends when Citroen gets the new car(if they get the new car).

They will get a new car sometime next year. They have just issued a press release that they are going to turn the C4 into a rally car.

Its interesting because that car has a glass roof (at least the concept does).

Let's see if Petter does another late season run. I still think it's Sebastians year.

Looks like Loeb has it locked up. Petter will probably finish a strong second though, and have a good car to compete with again next year. Let's hope Burnsie returns in good form so subaru can challenege for the manufacturer's title too.

hey come on now... we have 5 rallies left. . . don't count petter out yet. all it takes is one retirement from loeb and consistent podium finishes from petter and he has it locked up... i'm still betting on petter... heck, i might even wager on wrc.com.
maybe i'll win somethin this year.

*i'm hopin for a repeat win for petter in GB*

I'm probably wrong, but if i'm not mistaken, Loeb would need to average less than 4 pnts per rally for the next 5 while Petter wins all of them for Petter to win. If you look at the driver points, you'll see that Loeb has only had one zero the whole wrc, the rest being better than 5, usually 8s or 10s. So, I don't think Petter has a chance...

I'm still rooting for him though

Its actually 4.2 points per rally iff Petter wins all 5. Breaks down to four 5th place finishes and one 4th place finish. Or 4 DNFs, 2 wins. Or 3 DNFs and 2 second places and a 4th place. etc...

EDIT: Re-do my stats. Forgot that if Loeb wins, Petter can't also win Which means two outright wins from Loeb makes Loeb the champion.
