It appears the 2001 World Champion (in a Subaru) has succumbed to the brain tumor that caused him to pull out of the 2003 Rally of Great Britain before his scheduled return to the Subaru World Rally Team.

Rallying has lost a great man. Condolences to the family.

 

I tip my hat to that man and all the great accomplishments that he was able to grasp in his short 35 years. My condolences to his family and friends, may he be in a better place. Rest in piece and rally through the clouds.

Just incase you guys didn't know they had a segmant on his accomplishments on Motorsport Mundial. They might run it again. I hope so.

 

HOLY FREAKIN SH*T!! I didnt even know he was sick. I had heard he might be sick but i had no idea. I havent watched WRC since 04, ive been so busy, i cant believe he's gone...he was my favorite driver, that really sucks, God bless his family. Maybe some day we'll see him in heaven and he can take us all for a ride.
