Rallyschool in Willows, CA
We are happy to officially announce the 2006 San Francisco Region SCCA
and California Rally Series Rally School and RallyCross, June 10-11, 2006.
Saturday June 10th is a daylong event that covers all elements of rally
competition. Again this year, a heavy emphasis will be placed on in the
seat time for both drivers and co-drivers on practice courses designed
to give them the "feel" of real competition. Completion of the school
satisfies the requirement for a "first timers" class at the student's
first event.
This is a great opportunity to show a new co-driver, service crew member,
or spouse what rally is all about. There is no one involved in the sport
that will not benefit from this workshop.
You do not need to bring any vehicle to take part in the classroom part
of the course. You may use any reasonable street automobile, except
convertibles or sports utility vehicles, for the drivers practice sessions
as they are on the same smooth dirt lot as the Sunday RallyCross.
Experienced Rally Drivers will ride along with students. Two or more
students may share one car. A helmet with a Snell 95 or newer sticker is
required for the driver's practice. A few loaner helmets are available.
No helmets are required for the co-driver practice sessions.
When: June 10-11, 2006
Where: Thunderhill Raceway Park, Willows, CA

No more CRS ones are planned for this year, so the next one will probably be in Ridgecrest in February. The 2007 schedule hasn't been worked out yet though.
In the meantime, Paul Eklund's holding several more Primitive Racing schools in Oregon and Washington. See http://www.writerguy.com/primitive/ for more details.
