Monte Carlo WRC round possibly moved to end of calendar

at WRC.com, it's being reported that there's a proposal on the table to move the Rally Monte Carlo from it's traditional season-opening January timeframe to the end of the schedule in November. Apparently the FIA would like WRC events to occur on alternate weekends with F1 event (to keep the TV schedule full).

Personally, I think it'd be great to see the Monte wrap up the championship season rather than rally GB. I can't imagine a better party spot! For that matter, they should make the Monaco GP the last race of the year for F1 as well!

This year it's Telstra Rally Australia as the season ender.

The Monte needs to be the first round of the WRC IMO.
