You should see how these cars land over the big jumps - sooo smooth! - no rebound or bounce or anything. Amazing machines.
There were large concrete bollards marking the track, and the drivers were passing them at what must have been 100mph sideways, only inches away, without ever hitting them. Awesome!
We had a chat to George Donaldson (subaru motorsport dude) and he had lots of interesting info. Did you know all the WRCars run lightweight windscreens that cost $10k each!

Hey I run small Auto Glass Co. I hear thies Windshields are heated also ( Small wires from side to side and to to bottom) Like Mercedes S500 Backglass. let me know
How hard is it to get signature from the top drivers like Pete Solberg ????? or are they GOD Like??????
Are you able to stand right on the side of the stage ???? and if so how does the speed feel are driving on the edge
Can you up load any for the smells of a 300 hp Subaru Prodrive WRC as it flys by ?????
Have you made it to any service areas or is that Fri. Sat. Sun.????
I-Club has big severs with lots of Gigs of storage seed all the pic you want!!!!!!

Man I had an awesome weekend. I went to the final day's stages at Sotico, and it was a thrilling battle right down to the wire. Best days rallying i've been to for years.
In some places you can stand right along the track, but they have that bunting everywhere, so you have to watch from designated areas. I was right at the side of the road at the finish of the final stage - I could see Solberg going nuts in side the car, and the car was close enough to touch.
They had a driver autograph session on Tuesday night, so if you didn't mind waiting, you could get them to sign whatever. They are usually quite accomodating if you can get their attention during a service, or at the hotel etc.
I didn't get to the service area this year, but i have in years previous. Over the years they have got more strict about separating the spectators from the service bays, and the number of spectators has increased, so it's more difficult to see stuff now than what it once was.
I didn't take many more pics, but i'll post what i have soon.
