**Press Release Chaste Auto at Rim**
Chaste Automotive Driver Victor Kuhns and Co Driver Abel Villesca finish 5th overall and 3rd in Production GT at Rim of the World Rally in Lancaster California. The rally started well for the team with the first few stages of the rally going very well but on SS4 Victor hit a rock that had been kicked into the stage and bent a control arm, after reaching the team on the Radio to let them know that they had cleared the stage. After arriving at service the arm and rim were quickly changed. On Saturday we started 16th which meant that we would be running a lot closer to the front and meant that the road would be much better so Victor went for it. We were sailing in PGT and were only behind the Turbo Cars of Stephan Verdier, Tanner Foust, and Moberly. We still managed to stay in front of a few WRXs so we were in very good shape. At some point after the first service a rock punched a hole in the floor filling the car with dust to the point that Victor and Able could hardly breathe or see. Worse still their radio stopped working so they could not call in to service either. As soon as they arrived in service Veictor was exhausted and out of breath but after patching the hole and giving both driver and co driver fluids and some food they were ready to fly through the finish. The run to the finish was trouble free except for the skid plate which came loose after the last stage. A very good result for the team and we look forward to Gorman and the debut of the teams new cars.
