Talking Picasa vs Flickr? Which do you recommend and why?

Depends on what you want to do with the sites I guess.

I use flickr a bit, but there's a 200 picture limit if you don't want to pay.

Flickr has more groups and has a pretty good community. I like the layout and how fast the site is (compared to photobucket). I haven't tried out Picasa but that's my take on Flickr.

The only thing I don't like about Flickr is that they want you to link back to their website. I've found a way around it but it get's annoying if you want to upload 10+ pictures to i-Club or something.

same here with flickr,the link back does gives you an extra work to delete

Also Aperture and LR 3 are both able to sync pictures with Flickr.
