Romanesco Broccoli! Not only awesomely photogenic, but the preferred food of math geeks... The florets are shaped in logarithmic spirals, and the shapes are also fractal: http://www.fourmilab.ch/images/Romanesco/

It's an heirloom variety, so you likely won't find it on the shelf at Safeway. Whole Foods may or may not have it, perhaps they can point you in the right direction, though. I got this one from our CSA (organic farm veggie subscription), so definitely check with any of your local organic veggie growers.
