Umm for digital, I would probably say the Fujifilm Finepix X100 is probably one of the better "cheap" digital rangefinders.

well Kodak makes the CCD sensors for Leica
There was a rumor flying around that Leica was going to use sony's FF sensor for their M9's but it was kinda like WTF
But after kodak announced they hired someone to evaluate if they should file BK, those sony rumors are looking more legit.

A couple of my friend's younger siblings want me to shoot their senior portraits 
I'm thinking of getting a good ol' Nikon 105mm f/2.5 AIS for some sweet portrait shots. Any thoughts? I could also go for the shorter Samyang/Rokinon/Vivitar 85mm f/1.4 also for a little bit more.
