First Photo Shoot!

Hey,

So for Christmas i bought myself a Canon T4i Camera. I've never owned a DSLR before, but i love editing video with my GoPro, so i thought i would give photography a try!

Here are a couple of shots of my car, well, only the decent ones...haha. All these shots were taken up on a Mountain Road at 10:30pm

Also, please let me know all the flaws in these photos, and how i can improve my photography. Like I said, this was my first day!

The middle one is cool. Your car is wrb so it's perfect for pics especially since it contrasts so well. Add some more layers and make that blue pop.

And also, I personally like light on wrb because it makes it really Stand out so I wouldn't lower the amperature too much like you did. Use flashes instead. Or light paint it and do long exposure shots. Those are my favs =).

You can clone out the hot spots on the front fender if you want.

Middle shot is the best but like Stealth said flashes and exposure would make that a even greater photo

Thanks for all the comment everyone! I didn't use any flash on these pictures, just long exposure and a flash light to 'paint' the car. I don't have any high tech flash systems, so a flash light is the best i got, haha.

I didn't do any photoshopping on these photos. What would you suggest I do in photoshop to get them to be better? I know you guys said add some layers, but add some layers of what? (i've never used photoshop)

My friend, I think it's best to sit through a few photoshop tutorials.

This!!

Most of what I have learned was on Youtube.

Clone out the white spots on the car that the reflecting light made.
