Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM (Now with a few pics)

Anyone else running this lens? I just got mine in this morning and OMG!!!!!!!

I'm absolutely amazed at how clear it is at wide open. I'll post some pics when I get home later.

This is definately gonna come in handy at the JDM theory show this weekend!

Let me know how the lens turns out. I thought about buying one too and I'd love to see pics.

here's a quick one I did last night, bad weather/too much work means I haven't had too much time to play with it, but this weekend will definitely bring some good pics!!!

here's one from earlier too. I've been having to work the late shift lately so I have no time to go out and shoot...

Absolutely incredible lens. SPT has one that I use when i can. Otherwise i use my 17-40 F4L.

Get this lens and a 70-200 F2.8L IS and you are well on your way to being set

Car Info: your mom.
i used my friends 5D with his 16-35 and it is awesome. The f2.8 is helpful too when light starts getting limited. I have crop bodies(30D & 40D) so opted for the 10-22 since it's the crop bodies' cheaper equivalent of the 16-35. Great lens, but with the f/3.5, it starts hurtin' for light and/or a tripod when in semi-low light

if i ever go full frame, i wanna get the 16-35

That's the reason I opted for this one right now.

I WILL eventually have a full frame(5d or 1d) and I figuered why not get something that will work with both...

The lens has treated me right so far.

****ing hot *** pics. Yo SubyN00by, I just got into photography myself. Haven't taken any classes yet but I have a Rebel XT EOS with the standard lense that came with it. I want to buy the lense you have in this thread as well as a Telephoto L series with IS. Can you recommend some good ones and how much they will set me back? Thanks man, your help is much appreciated!
