hey im new to this thread. i just started doing photography as well with a nikon d40

The one thing that bugs me big time about this is that the fake sky isn't done very well in my opinion. It's on a totally different plane then it should be. There is no way the clouds would be at that angle in real life. That and you can see the cut between the fake sky and the wall at the edges. Same thing with the top of the car and the sky.
If you are going to fake a sky, make it a good fake.
If they were going for a parking garage on a 45 degree slope, then the sky would be flat. It would be cool to angle the picture so the sky was flat with the top of the frame.

not yet actually. i took a photo class last semester with a Sony cybershot (school camera) and did some hdr, but it wasnt that great and i just used a trial program. i got the pentax right after the class ended and havent gotten a chance to really use it
here is one i did in hdr but ended up turning it into black and white and blurred the background a little
