Trannyless for a month, need new ones ASAP!!!

I have not had my tranny in my car for about a month and a half now, just after being denied under waranty! Does anyone have or know where I can get a WRX tranny for a good price? New or used, I don't care. Thanks...

Did you get in touch with Jeff Sponaugle (sp)? He was selling one for $550 a little bit ago.

Yeah I did! He told me that some guy that was gonna buy it backed out, so then I said that I would come pick it up, and then he said that guy that first contacted him emailed him back and changed his mind, and Jeff said he would get back to me if that guy didn't pull through again. I have not heard from Jeff since...

No I have not tried them... I just need to find one right away! The cheapest one that I have found is 1500, which is a lot more than 550, which is what I would love to pay for one. Thanks...

Oh yeah you did say you would sell me yours for 800 in the Transmission Forum! Sorry, I spaced and forgot. But will that legacy tranny bolt up in the WRX. The wrx has a hydrolic clutch, and I heard that you can only use a wrx tranny, cause I was gonna try and get a 2.5rs one.
