Moving to PNW

Howzit everyone,

Im moving (back) to Seattle in June, and am curious what's the Subaru hot spots? I've noticed that the i-club overthere is not very big, it seems to be NASIOC. The HIIC is pretty big over here so I mainly post here.

So whats up with SIR (I've heard its not called that anymore.) Do they have "open" nights? I have my Subie, and a 1971 Camaro parked in my dads garage in Maple Valley that is beggin' to be ran.

Thanks,
Dan

Welcome yeah, i-club pnw is pretty dead, but you are more than welcome to help get it going.

SIR is now called its original name Pacific Raceways http://www.pacificraceways.com/ I don''t know the details on open nights but I am sure they have them.

Thanks. The driving school sounds interesting. Anyone tried their road course?

It's cheaper to hook up with some of the local car clubs ie. BMW, Alfa or Porsche if you want to drive the road course. The Alfa club has the most diversity in cars I think.

^^^Outstanding. I didn't even think of that. I know someone in the Alfa Club, who also races a 350Z. I'll check with him. Thanks.

I don't remember much about the car scene over there other than the weekend "meets" or show off my bodykit events at the gas station in Tukwila.

They usually would drive off later to go look for places to drag race, find a place and then get busted by the cops. Good times!

Yep, not really looking for something like that. Would be ideal if they had a crew like here. Oh well, money talks.

Unfortunately the NW scene on I-club is really weak compared to ClubWRX and Nasioc. To be honest, I'd check over there for meets and local stuff.
