what's up with doo *** on the 2nd?

Hey does anyone know what is going on lately with the scca rally scence? I know that the first stages of doo *** were this weekend and the second part is march 1 or 2nd. Does anyone know of any other subaru related events that are coming up in the near future, subaru meets, rallies, etc.... Thanks!

Just curious, is anyone going?

Hi All! Just wanted to see if anyone was rolling out to watch the doo *** rally. I'm a little excited to go, could ya tell? I have been to the wild west one but never to doo ***. Is it a fun one to go to? Peace. Sarah

Making a weekend of Doo ***

Hey!

I'm considering heading out for Doo *** this weekend. I've never been to a rally and am not familiar with Hoquiam.

Anyone have suggestions as to where to stay out there? Is it close enough to Long Beach (time-wise) to stay down there and shoot up in the morning? Do the rallies attract enough folks that there's little hope of finding lodging on this short notice?

Well at this point you won't find a room at the Host Hotel...Westwood Inn as all the rally racers have rooms there...myself included.

I know there are a few web sites where you can just look up hotels in the general area.

Dang..I saw another one in town last weekend, but didn't get the name...grr

I don't know about the distance from Long Beach...sorry about that.

Bring the camcorders and digi cameras...we all want pictures!

And I'll have my camera.
I think I'm going to brave the gas prices and drive the truck.

It looks like it's supposed to rain down south and I'd rather get the inside of the truck all muddy. Plus I can throw a tarp over the bed and sit in it.
