Paypal donations for flowers going on in thread.
I just wanted to post here and let everyone know that we have had an accident in the NW Subaru Community. Austin Marriage was involved in an accident here in Idaho. He is currently in the hospital.
I am not going to list any contact information here until I talk to Austin and get his permission. Please post all your condolences here and I will make sure Austin gets them. Please do not call the hospital looking for him. We need to make sure that he gets his rest and can come home as soon as possible.
I will post any details that Austin says are okay, otherwise we will wait until he gets back on here. Please do not ask for more information.
Some of us will be sending some flowers and a card. If you would like to join us, or send you own flowers, please contact Subie Gal or myself for details.
Thanks everyone.

I hope he is doing better. I can't get over to the other site since this wonderful government computer system has that one blocked out for some reason, it says
The Websense category "Message Boards and Clubs" is filtered
I hope all is well,

It meant so much to me to read this thread in the hospital and know that you were all thinking of me. I love ya all! The flowers were perfect too!
Here's a little bit of the whole story...
Tuesday, Sep 23rd, my dad and I took a day trip up in the hills in his pickup. About 6pm, right after we crossed Anderson Ranch Dam, we drove over the side of the road and fell about 700 feet down a rocky face. My dad was thrown from the truck and died. I was rescued by helicopter (LifeFlight) the next day and taken to St. Als Hospital in Boise.
We'll never know exactly what caused the accident. Maybe the sun was in my dad's eyes, maybe a bug flew in and hit him in the face, I don't know... I have no memory of the moments before going over the side - but I do remember falling for what seemed an eternity.
I broke my right ankle, broke my right shoulder in a couple spots, got pretty nasty burns from the seat belt, stitches in one eye and my head, and bruised & cut up all over.
I'm out of the hospital now. I've got metal plates in my ankle and shoulder. I'm healing quickly. My docs say I'll have nearly full mobility in both my shoulder ankle once healed.
Stacie has been a rock. She flew to Idabo the moment she found out I was in the hospital and has been taking care of me since. She is truly my angel.
I'll probably be back in Washington in a couple weeks.
Thanks again for all your support and encouragement - you're an amazing group of people!
See ya soon,
Austin
