Best Roads in PDX Area?
Hey PDXers, Ima be moving there (already got the house) on Aug 13 and was wondering what the best roads (twisty backroads for spirited drives) were.
I remember driving to Eagle Creek (east of Portland) and there was a pretty sweet road.
TIA!

twisties???
I'm lookin too! The best i've seen is at mosier. Go's to the Dalls off of I-84. This is a 15-35 mph corners road that is perfectly kept and is part of the historic columbia hiway. I scared the hell out my wife on this road and she found out what this car is capable of on this road. It was awsome!! Lots of stuff around portland though, I'm still exploring.
i've grown up in the PDX area and i have to say that the best driving is out in the counrty to the SW. a fun loop that i drive on weekends starts in beaverton on scholls ferry rd headed west. then i turn left onto Hwy 210/219 and go all the way to newberg. if you don't get stuck behind anyone this is one of the best sections of road in the area. i usually follow 219 through newberg then turn left onto wilsonville road. from there i hang a left up bell Rd. this is the parrett mountain/ladd hill area and it is sports car paradise. most of the time i just head home after a while on these roads. when i have more time to burn i drive in the hills between Hwys 26 and 30 to the west of downtown. the more notable roads being skyline blvd, germantown rd, and cornelius pass rd.
happy driving
