Anyone here familiar with smog rules? - Coming from out of state

If I move to Thurston county is there a way to avoid smog for my 2006 sti? I read about there being no emissions tests and about possible out of state exemptions.

If anyone is well versed in this I would HUGELY appreciate your input and advice.

Thank you for your time

So you can move with no smog I guess since that page doesn't mention anything on it? Awesome.
