The rear apron itself was pretty straight forward, it came with all the necessary parts to complete the install but was kind of frustraing at times. The diffuser acutally only fits 02-03 WRX's so you have to kind of get creative. I had to cut the ends off and drill 4 screws into the bumper to keep the diffuser to sit flush on the bumper, after that I painted the heads of the screws black so you can hardly tell.

Never really liked cf trunks (or sti wings), but yours looks pretty good with the wing.

wow, i never thought about doing the 02-03 rear diffuser with the 04 rear aprons, it looks really good! do you have any close-ups of the diffuser? i've wanted to do the 04 rear aprons with the hks kansai diffuser but it's too expensive, i might have to look into the oem 02-03 diffuser instead... thanks for the idea!

btw, no front mount? maybe in the future?

Sorry brother, I have no close up shots of the diffuser. Like I said before, you will just have to get creative, it will work but it won't be perfect. I didn't go with a front mount for a couple of reasons. For the same reason why I didn't go with a bigger turbo than the 18g/8cm is because this car is setup for road racing and I wanted the quickest spool possible while improving top end acceleration. The turbo holds power all the way to redline, I can't say the same for the infamous VF39. Retaining the factory TMIC gave me higher torque #'s than a FMIC ever would on an 18g. 339 torque to the wheels is a lot for an 18g!
