Work in progress, but here's my first pics...

I got my custom badge from www.youremblem.com in the mail, decided to put it on and wash the car.

Yet to come - Christmas brings goodies. I will be putting stock WRX wheels and tires on as soon as I finalize with a seller. Will hopefully upgrade suspension and brakes (they are horrible right now). Will keep you all posted!

um... with the 15% discount coupon, it was $16.11 shipping included.

I placed the order last wednesday, and got them today, so they're pretty prompt with their 5-6 business day delivery claim.

that dot is a pain to get on there, I got it stuck a little too close to the left 2. I think I'll "debadge" it and put it back on soon... Or not, I'm lazy. Besides, I don't think it looks too bad unless you get really close up and look at the difference.

Yuppers. Check out the interior/exterior/lighting forum, look for CUSTOM TRUNK badge string, and he has posted a discount coupon code. Use that to get 15% off the purchase.

Errr, double checked, the coupon expired 12/10, sorry!

Ah, sticker is sad? I'm assuming you are talking about the 2.2RS?

It is a 99 2.2L, and yes it was not a stock hood. I was in an accident, and insurance covered an OEM new hood, so I opted for the 2.5RS hood, and went to a local junkyard and picked up the hood, vents, and rainpans + hardware for 75 bucks ( the vents alone OEM were 75 each about, hood scoop about 180, and the pans were NOT included...)

As for the WRX engine, I was planning on doing this in the near future. I currently am on a small budget, due to being a full time student and merely working part time to pay monthly loans. However, I will begin my paid coop for mechanical engineering, and this will allow for more upgrades to be had. I plan on putting 2.5RS bumper, sideskirts, WRX engine, and still looking into a decent turbo.

Thanks for the positive comments though, I know to most it looks like nothing, but I can post pics of what it used to look like before the hood, entire front being repainted, and my clear corner mod from scoobymods.

Actually got a question to ask you as well.

Should I take off the pinstripe? I did them myself when it was the 2.2L, but I'm thinking I should peel em off as I upgrade... What do you think?
