That was the plan. What it boils down to is i have two bumb fenders that need to be taken care of first and if I am going to take the time and effort to paint some bits I might as well get some after market ones that look a whole lot better. What is holding me up (other than the monitary issue) is that i cant decide what airfoil I want. I think the black Turismo wings look great but I fear it will look too ricy.. I think they look way better than the tall wrx wings (no offence to the people that like the wrx wings just my oppinion). So i think these sideskirts and airfoil wont get painted and just be used for my winter/school gear.

Im using the KYB GR2 struts. The odd thing is I did not have the same fitment issues with the stock springs. Maby I just had an off batch of springs. two fit ok but the other two were dicy in my mind.. but all seems well.

Are those progressive rated or linear? I'm running AGX + Eibach pro.. on my 99rs. It's fine for the twisties and the drop is good but for daily driving gets bouncy cause of the progressive rates.

As i understand it it is progressive. I experence slight bounce daily driving but it is nothing unbarrable. it is definetly alot smoother of a ride like you would get with non progressive, cut springs or cheap coil-overs.

what's up cudaeh!i'm pretty new to the subie-world and was looking for the most even drop for my 93 L fwd...based on your pics, your ride has the raked look which i don't mind either...how's the comfort level? i was a big honda nut so the lower the better for me! i was going to do the h&r race springs, but came across your post and was curious about your set up...any ideas where to purchase the kyb's and whitelines at the best poss prices? thanks for the feedback!

the rake look is an optical illusion.. when you look at the car from the side the top edge of the side skirts are level with the ground so the car is sitting level but because the rear wheel wells are lower than the front it looks like its raked a bit.
I picked up the springs for $150 on ebay most places are advertising for about $200-$250 you can find links of distributers off of whitelines websight.
I got the kyb struts for about $300 from a local shop. I think you can order them from murries, autozone or any other parts shop. I love the gr2 struts they are nice and firm without being too ridged.. The nose of the car still dips when you put your foot heavy in the break, but the steering is very responsive.
my over all ride is very nice, you will feel a fiew more bumps in the road that you didnt feel before but there is very little bounce to it. Nothing like cheap coil overs where you leave your seat on a regular basis. I have also noticed very little bumpsteer.... I highly recomend the whiteline anti lift kit.. that made my suspension. almost totaly cured the understeer issues and gave the front end a little stiffer feel.. that ran me about $150 and was not too bad to install.
Well i hope i got you all the info you were looking for..
enjoy and good luck
kevin
