Where are all the Hatches???
I have been looking through and haven't come across too many modified WRX hatches? So I thought I would post mine. I hope you like!

Hi Nordie, nice car! The reason we don't post pictures of our GF bodied turbo hatches is because they were never sold that way in North America. Ours were all naturally aspirated from the factory. I believe you call them "Sports".
Some of us have hatches that have been subjects of conversions and have STi powertrain transplants infused into them but unfortunately those are far and few between.

Thanks for that info Billy.
What a shame you guys missed out on the Rex hatches. Alot of people own them over here, but they tend not to modify them. All the sedans seem to get done up. I think (and i'm biased) that the hatches look much better and they are alot more practical.
If they anyone out there that have made such conversions as mentioned by Billy? I would love to see some of the trends that you guys are setting?
Cheers

We have WRX hatches here in the US - I own one - they just like to call em "wagons" instead. You're right though, don't see too many pictures of them around here, much less modded ones.
That spoiler at the bottom of your rear window is a mod right and the wheels, anything else?

Bonkers
The rear spoiler is actually standard on all our Rex hatches/wagons before the MY01 onwards. Do you have any pics of yours, or does anyone have any pics of their wagons they would like to post. I would love to see what people have done to theirs!
My mods list is:
* Uniflow airfilter
* Blitz BOV
* DIY water spray and CAI
* Turbosmart boost controller and FCD
* rear stainless muffler 4 inch tip - need more money for whole exhaust
* DBA cross-drilled brakes
* 18 inch Avantek Concept 8 rims
* Pedders lowered springs
* heavy duty clutch
* i think that's about it, plenty more to come in the future
Cheers

Mine's not a WRX but it's an 04 Impreza Outback Sport. I find it funny that Subaru calls it a "wagon" in the US but a "hatchback" seemingly everywhere else(just look at some of the foreign Subaru web sites and you'll see no reference to the word wagon). Is it because the term hatchback has a connotation of being cheap in the US while a wagon doesn't? If anything the wagon has a connotation of grocery getter but hey. I refer to my car as a hatcback anyway

I agree the wagons look much better! I own a 03' white wrx myself. I haven't done much to it yet, but I am still in the process. As of right now, these are my mods:
* Paran intake
* HKS BOV
* Tanabe coilovers (Sustec Pro)
* Stock, but spray-painted bronze wheels (sounds ghetto but
looks alright)-> I am still deciding what kind of rims i should get.
Maybe bronze or black w/ a silver lip. Any suggestions?
* HKS special edition blah blah blah (the one with the blue tip
and wrapped in carbon fiber) I am not sure on the exact
name!
* STI side Carbon reflectors
I have a looong way to go!!! Anyhow, I'll try to post some pics and hopefully you guys can help me out with your opinions and comments!
