I used a Canon 300D (rebel) with some standard 28-300mm lens (i think), and a hell of nice 15mm fisheye lens

thats a really nice set-up. the fish eye lense was perfect for the drive-by shots.

i would really like to get a 20d but at around $1200 i dont think thats happening anytime soon.

The body is probably worth around $400-500 these days, the normal zoom lens is probably around $200 (it wasn't mine) and the fisheye was $700 new! !!
