he had the ebay special huge intercooler, and just installed the sti one...so huge doesn't necessarily apply to the sti one...although it is much much much more efficient than the egay one...

I saw a bunch of you Velocity guys at the Mt. Hammy meet. I just kept thinking to myself, "Is this the same team I saw 5-6 years ago on that website with the drifting article? They got a chapter up here?" I just remembered a member in Japan a long time ago used to have a GC8 with a full Zero Sports kit. Good to see you guys are still around and growing.

yup, same team, all the guys spread out around the world (mostly military) and started chapters everywhere they went. You can see most of the current lineup at velocity.isfaster.com Some of the chapters are more updated than others, but you get the picture. (=
The ones you saw at Hammy is the Monterey Chapter. We're mostly Subaru. Velocity started in Japan with mostly Nissans right marc? He'll chime in in a second

well..not exactly a second...
Velocity was started in 1997 by Joe Cooker in Iwakuni Japan. What started out as a joke grew into Velocity. Alot of the original crew is gone, and our former webmaster (Ryan Stevens) was the Internet's GodFather of drifting. He was responsible for a majority of the internet based information that was up and around the net before drifting blew up and Initial D was being pirated into the US.
Glad someone recognized the name

Ah... My sleeper would NOT have a hoodscoop (FMIC blacked out), no stickers... certainly NO wing and no tags anywhere but the grill, where a proud 'i' badge would sit.
And it would have plenty under the hood and suspension, with as near to stock axle back as I could find... sleepers are meant to 'surprise' the prey!
