Ver 1 lip installed!
After i got my car back from the body shop (a little front bumper fender bender), the OEM lip was replaced with a RavSpec fiberglass replica Sti ver 1 lip, here's a couple quick shots, hope you enjoy:

did you have any fitment issues, or problems w/ the quality of the part? I got the same part from ravspec but mine was a real piece of crap... not smooth at all, lots of pinholes.. for the most part it looks like the surface of a golfball.. i had to have my shop do a bunch of repair work on the lip. even while transporting it over a piece of the fiberglass broke off. I'm fully disapointed and ravspec still hasnt called me back. guess thats what i get for going replica. did you have to do any refinishing/filling/etc before you painted?

Yeah thats the problem with replicas, the finished product is such a crapshoot. I remember buying a fibreglass replica Sti GC8 ver 6 lip in the past and it was pretty bad, didn't fit right and scraped the paint on my bumper.
To answer your question, i think i lucked out on this particular lip. It fit well and the primered surface was pretty flaw free. The inner surface needed to be sanded tho to keep from scraping up the paint and i used double sided sticky foam door jamb weather seal tape to provide a cushion barrier against the lip and the parts that touch the bumper skin. All in all it worked out well bolting to the stock holes and no additional drilling.

Thanks, i considered the CF side markers, but i didn't want to disrupt all white with black sidemarkers. Like to keep the whole thing looking clean.

pyschoboo: thanks i totally agree with that. btw i got my LHD euro Sti lights from CC-B a vendor in chicago. They currently go for $975 i believe, not cheap, but better than the JDM lights which illuminate the wrong side of the road and blind in coming traffic.
Plus the LHD lamps have levelling motors for the projectors, like the Evos and BMWs, but there are no aftermarket wiring harness adapters yet.
