Unpainted Car Club??
*snicker* Note the bumpers *snicker*

It's probably cheaper to not paint the bumpers on a rally car since they get ripped off or damaged on a regular basis. Why waste money on paint, when you can spend it on going faster?!?
Not only that but that poor car (named "burnsie", BTW) was in a fire and completely restored for rally duty.
And BTW, it's not fully restored, she left some of the burnt pieces on cuz she didn't want to go buy new ones.

On a rally or race car who cares if its been painted as long as its fast, handles well and doesn't break down. Save the money that would be spent on a paint job and put it towards something else. Now if its your daily driver then definately paint the damn thing.
Verdugo is not noob. Verdugo has been around for quite a while. Good to know you've been around long enough to know this.
Done with that conversation.
The spectators, the management, the sponsors, the people you race with; they all care. Looking and being professional is as much a part of racing as driving ability, if not more. Looking professional comes across by your vehicle appearance, your actions, and the way you treat people.

I don't know if i remembered this correctly, but contrasting colors on the top/bottom of cars, especially darker on the bottom and lighter on the top, make the top sections turn out sharper in photography, whereas if the whole thing was the same color, then the lines are blurred and the whole picture is not as sharp and body lines not as defined.
I personally found nothing wrong with subiegal's wagon, its black on the entire bottom section of the car and blue on the rest, i think that look stands out, as opposed to all the other ones that might be one color, you can point at her's and say "see that two toned wagon?" and they'd know exactly what you're pointing at.
