Subies from SCCA NORPAC Car Corral! (die 56k!)

SECCS put on the Subaru Car Corral for the SCCA NORPAC convention last weekend! Here's some pics!

The early morning group:

The black WRX just had Sparcos installed the night before (I know, I was up all night w/ the owner installing!!)

Both these are Vishnu Stage 1's... The STi put down over 300ftlbs of torque to the wheels!

The RS here is turbo'd... the only '03 RS-T I've ever seen!

Here's my car in race trim, minus the race tires/rims

Here's the VS1 STi again

So sweet it brings a tear to Mike's eye... luckily he's got the WRX STi kleenex box cover!

My magnetic roll-call. I should have used the decals to spell "rice"...

Since one of the big shots from Shelby was there, we let him park his car with ours.

And one "traitor" came... at least his other car's a '04 WRX...

Reno International Airport

Okay, I'm spent... more pics here:

Yeah, the whole club considers Tyson's car to be the best looking: MBP, gold SSRs, lowered on eibachs, Sparco seats, wingless, headlight mod... that thing is CLEAN.

Ugh, JC you trying to ruin this thread w/ your GC8 *****ing too?

There were no GC8's cuz *you* got the only one in the club! And quit whining about it... our club is pretty close to national proportions when it comes to the number of GC8's vs. other Subarus... no one bought 'em!

They're great cars, but if no one's got one in the club, how am I supposed to get one for the show? Find my original post, I said I wanted one, and even suggested you bring yours, but that's a long *** drive from Ann Arbor to Reno for a weekend.

So enjoy the pics of the cars that *did* make it! This event was huge for the club, we got all kinds of recognition from Subaru, SCCA, and we even got the head of Oregon Rally Group to offer to help Matt and I setup a RallyCross program in Reno!

So there.

Anyway, here are a few more pics. We had a small table set up to give out some loot Subaru NA gave us, we had A LOT of visitors, all in all a cool weekend.

Spillner was there!

Tyson rolls up a poster for a future Solberg fan

I had to put one in of my car, since it gets no love.
